ABOUT ELEANOR RISING

Formed in 2011, Eleanor Rising is a rock band featuring Ryan James (guitar), Rudy Mallari (vocals), Jared Whitehead (drums) and Irem Ayan (bass) from Vancouver, BC Canada. Their songs are a great blend of guitar driven rock, blues, and metal infused with strong, insightful lyrics. Their sound is reminiscent of some popular bands such as Slash and the Conspirators, Staind, Alterbridge, and 3 Doors Down, while maintaining their own unique identity.

Discography:
5.0 - Coming Soon (Black as the Devil first single from the album)
Drei - August, 2016
Dos - July 2014
Amplify 2012

Reviews

“Their sound is polished and unique.” – Kelley Jasper (Audio Revolt Radio)

“Super heavy rock band reminding us of Hinder, Hurt, and 3 Doors Down mixed with Metallica and a touch of Foo Fighters producing one fantastic sound. One thing that stands out is their diversity. Each song has its own unique feel of hard rock, grunge, and touches of old school metal with some amazing guitar riffs. These guys are actually mind blowing and would please any rock fan of all ages. Vocally superb, lyrically supreme and the music is rock itself.” – Scotty D (Rock Bandom)

“Take Me Home is a great track…there are elements Metallica, Green Day, Staind, and other bands mixed in. (The song) makes you want to hold your hands in the air and sway kind of feel.”- Ian Husbands (Music Scene Investigation)

“I like the album a lot, the songs are strong and the band is tight” – Nicky Baldrian (Fireworks Magazine - UK)

“Eleanor Rising is a new band from right here in Vancouver. They released a 5 song EP last March, and recently released their full length album, Amplify, in January. They had help along the way from Doug Fury, who is already known in the Vancouver scene as for his band a guitarist for Bif Naked. They have a sound that reminds one of many different bands, yet is not completely like one of them. Check them out and see what you think!” – Vancouver Music Review
